Solid
Hardwood Flooring
Traditional long floorboards 20 mm hardwood flooring.
Lengths are mixed, usually from about 1.5 metres up to possibly 2.7
metres, tongued and grooved sides and ends (or planed all round), stress
grooves in reverse, micro-bevel if required, and can be pre-sanded to reduce
installation time and dust. Also available pre-finished with hard wax/oil, and
can be stained or brushed. Can be planed down to 16 mm thick if
required.
European
Oak - Widths 95,115,140,165
and 200 mm. Various darker stain options
available.
Prime Grade - A very high quality grade of hardwood
flooring, mainly free of knots.
Character Grade - Contains some knots and grain patterns, some
colour variation. Our most popular hardwood flooring.
Ash - A light
coloured and very hard wood, with some darker colour variation in some boards.
Makes a very attractive hardwood floor. Widths 115, 140, and 165 mm.,
sometimes 200 mm.
Beech - Available in a mixed grade hardwood flooring
with lots of character and pattern, 140 and 165 mm, lengths 2 metres.
American Black Walnut - Dark,
almost purple hardwood flooring, widths 140 and 165 mm, available in a rustic
grade with some lighter colour variation and
knots.
European Cherry - A pale timber, with subtle shades of pink and green in
some boards. Widths 115, 140, 165 mm., mixed grade with a high
proportion of clear boards. Lengths mainly from 1 to 1.5
metres.
Red
Elm - A
light pinkish colour which darkens with age.
Difficult to obtain, so not always available.
Hardwood strip flooring 20 mm hardwood strip flooring, generally narrower and in shorter lengths typically mixed from about 400 mm up to possibly 1.6 metres, although sometimes less depending on the materials available. It usually requires sanding after installation. Products are tongued and grooved on all four sides, stress grooves in reverse.
American Oak - Available in prime and natural grades hardwood strip
flooring. Widths mainly 63, 89, 114, and in natural grade only, 140, 150, 165
mm.
American Black Walnut - A mixed
grade with some lighter colour variation and occasional knots. Widths 89,
114 and 140 mm
Canadian Maple
- A light coloured and very hard wood, widths generally 57, 83 mm.
Available in natural and prime grade.
Canadian Cherry - Generally darker in colour than European Cherry.
Natural grade, widths 89, 114 and 140 mm
Iroko -
Available in prime
grade, width 67
mm.
Solid Hardwood Overlay Strip Flooring Generally 8 mm thick, typically 70 mm wide, tongue and
groove sides and ends.
European
Oak - width 70 mm, mixed lengths. Available in prime and
character grades. (We also have12 mm thick, planed all round, various
widths up to 150 mm)
American
Black Walnut - 90 mm natural
grade
Iroko - 67 mm

Jatoba –

Solid pre-finished Hardwood Strip Flooring Supplied in mixed lengths from about 400 mm up to
possibly 1.5 metres, with 5 coats of semi-gloss sealer. Boards are generally
19 mm thick, tongued and grooved on all four sides, and edges are
micro-bevelled. The following are available (see also pre-sanded
and pre-finished options for long floorboards above)

Solid Hardwood Blocks We supply wood blocks generally in sizes 20 mm by 70 mm
by 230 mm in Oak, Iroko, Maple, and American Black Walnut
Hardwood Skirting Board (115 mm, 140 mm and 165 mm), and Architrave- oak and ash in stock, some other timbers machined to
order.
Sealers and Adhesives -
Some in stock, many other hardwood flooring sealers available.
Engineered Hardwood
Flooring - Top quality engineered board, un-finished or
pre-finished, single plank, in oak and walnut, 21 mm thick with a 6 mm surface
layer on a 10 layer hardwood ply backing.
Widths are 160, 180, 200 and sometimes 220 mm. Other options available,
including 3 strip. in Ash, Beech, Cherry, Hevea, Iroko, Jatoba, Kempas, Maple,
Merbau, American Walnut, and both Red and White Oak.
Timber -
We can supply sawn, square edged, and planed timber.
